Who We Are
Veteran Conservation Hunters helps veterans continue to serve by protecting New Jersey’s fields and forests through ethical conservation hunting and stewardship. In the process, veterans build connection, purpose, and community while helping feed their families, support neighbors in need, and serve the land.
Conservation in Action
Our work goes beyond the field. In partnership with leading land trusts, we help manage deer populations and support habitat restoration efforts across New Jersey—protecting forests, wildlife, and native ecosystems.
Community Impact
We donated over 1.5 tons of venison during the 2025-2026 season alone, providing more than 13,000 meals to local soup kitchens, food pantries, and community members. We also support animal welfare efforts by providing venison to a local no-kill dog rescue.
